The Philippine gaming industry recorded PHP 88.13bn ($1.44bn) in revenue for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, according to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. This total reflects a 20.33% decline compared to the same period last year, when earnings reached PHP 100.63bn ($1.64bn).
PAGCOR chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco attributed the decrease to inflation and ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, both of which reduced consumer spending on discretionary entertainment. Licensed land-based casinos accounted for the largest share of the quarter’s income, generating PHP 45.37bn ($740.9m), or 51.49% of the total.
The igaming sector, which includes e-bingo and poker, contributed PHP 39.85bn ($650.8m), while PAGCOR-operated venues added PHP 2.90bn ($47.4m), representing 3.30% of the quarterly revenue.
